I saw =Darkpheonixstar19's "Audience of One" pic ([link]) and took the liberty in getting Astaroth and Arion in the same competition (that explains the similarity of the backgrounds, I wanted to give the impression they are at the same arena.)
This is actually my first acceptable pic of horse and rider, I had done a couple once in a blue moon, but never liked it. So, here are a couple of data on their performance:
- Exercise shown: Spanish Walk
- Music: Anima Noir - Theatres des Vampires ([link])

The vampire prince finished verifying his horse’s tack after the warm up and patted his shoulder.
- This is it Arion, stay calm… I don’t see why the long face. It’s not the first time we’ve been to a competition.
“Yes” – he muttered into his mind – “but it IS the first time you do something like this to my beautiful mane and tail for a competition. I look like an oversized Friesian!”
- Come on big guy, you know how difficult is to get you into a competition, some people say drafts are inappropriate, which I disagree by your example. And after all, there are marks for presentation, you know that?
“There are not.” >.>
Astaroth grew a bit more serious
- Even if there aren’t, I refuse to take a horse that’s not presentable enough to the arena.
“I’ll keep my attitude ù.ú I’m a trained warhorse, not a poodle!”

Astaroth chuckled as he got up the saddle and made Arion step into the Arena. He had a confident, almost complacent grin on his lips, but he was no innocent in picking a song from Theatres des Vampires, the instrumental version of Anima Noir. He was there in duty. And perhaps his bold choice would tempt their enemies to show their faces and strike first.

Oooo I love it hun!it looks exactly like the same arena Azura and karasu are performing in!Actually I've been wanting to but would you be okay if a drew a picture with Azura and Astaroth performing a tandem dressage performance with karasu and Arion??

God I really need to keep more of my horses active X3 Still working on it though. Any reference needed for a particular aspect just ask ^^
